The office Christmas party is a fixture for a reason, but the same restaurant table or bar corner every year runs out of charm quickly. If you are looking for something that gets the team talking, works for everyone, and does not depend on the weather, our golf simulator hire in South East London is worth a look. No golf experience needed, and it is far more fun than it sounds for people who have never picked up a club.
Why a golf simulator beats the usual Christmas do
Everyone can join in. A traditional corporate golf day rules out anyone who does not play. On a simulator, closest-to-the-pin and longest-drive games are genuinely funny and competitive whether someone is a scratch golfer or has never swung a club. The technology does the hard part. It is weatherproof. December in London is dark, cold and wet. Indoor golf does not care. Your event runs exactly as planned regardless of what the sky is doing. It is time-friendly. A traditional golf day eats five hours plus travel. A simulator session can be an hour or an afternoon, slotted around the working day, with food and drink alongside. It brings people together. Small groups rotating through bays, cheering each other on, is a far better team-building setup than a long table where you only talk to the two people next to you.
What a corporate Christmas event looks like at TCGC
The City Golf Club in Royal Arsenal, Woolwich runs three Trackman iO simulator bays and a tour-quality putting green in a striking former industrial building. A typical corporate booking mixes team games, a bit of friendly competition with a leaderboard, and time to relax with food and drink. We can shape it around your group size, your budget and how competitive you want it to be. It is five minutes from Woolwich Elizabeth line station, 14 minutes from Canary Wharf, and easy to reach from across South East London and the City.
